Pray that the publications of the MB Historical Commission, a bi-national partner of the Candaian Conference of MB Churches, will help churches follow God's leading today by discerning God's leading in the past. Pray for Andrew Dyck, completing his first year as executive secretary of the Historical Commission.

Please pray for students studying at our MB colleges and seminary as they begin a new semester. Pray for those students receiving the Leadership Training Matching Grant, through the Candaian Conference of MB Churches. Pray that the education they receive would greatly enrich their future ministry and service.

January 15

Pray for Gord Fleming, national director of church planting, as he leads in implementing a vision to see churches planted from coast to coast. Pray also for the provincial church planting directors across Canada. Pray that as they work together they will be encouraged and inspired by the work of God in their communities.

January 22

The MB Herald is celebrating its 50th Anniversary!
Thanks God for the MB Herald's 50 years of service.

Pray for the staff of the Canadian Conference of MB Churches publications: the MB Herald, Le Lien, the Chinese Herald, and others. Pray that they would be given wisdom and creativity in providing a place for the MB community to be challenged and inspired towards a deeper relationship with God and each other.

January 29

Pray for Willy Reimer, executive director of the Canadian Conference of MB Churches. Pray that he would have wisdom and discernment as he leads the conference to pursue its mission, vision and values.

February 5

Pray for the pastors enrolled in Ministry Advantage (MA) coaching with the Canadian Conference of MB Churches, as they study the systems and tools needed for reproducible, sustainable ministry. Pray for wisdom and discernment for the five Mennonite Brethren MA coaches as they guide pastors through the learning process.

February 12

Pray for the Canadian Conference of MB Churches stewardship ministries team as they provide training and resources for churches and individuals seeking Christ-centered stewardship of time, talent and treasure.

February 19

Pray for our MB churches in the Atlantic provinces, as they face many unique challenges in their context. Pray for health and perseverance as they faithfully follow God’s call to reach out to the Atlantic region.

February 26

Pray for the staff and faculty at our MB bible college in Quebec, École de théologie de Montréal (ÉTÉM), as they encounter the joys and challenges of educating students in Quebec’s unique context. Pray for increased support and enrolment for the college so that Quebec leaders can develop and increase in knowledge to proficiently serve in the ministries of the province.
