In 1955 the Christian Press launched the Mennonite Observer as an English language publication for the Mennonite Brethren constituency as the language transition from German to English was intensifying.  The Mennonite Observer was a counterpart to the Mennonitische Runschau and took the place of the  Konferenz-Jugendblatt.  Les Stobbe as the first editor of the Mennonite Observer, followed by Gerhard D. Huebert.  In 1962 the Mennonite Brethren Herald took its place.

This "index" was produced by Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies staff member David Perlmutter.  It is a listing by author and title but does not include subject information.  For copies of articles please contact the Centre.
