Der Wahrheitsfreund was a publication of the Krimmer Mennonite Brethren church in the United States. Its first publication came on July 28, 1915. Editors included M.B. Fast, D.M. Hofer, J.G. Barkman, J.H. Klassen, and W.W. Harms. English appeared in the publication as early as 1916 but by 1940 almost half was in English. The paper included a children’s section, community reports from the United States, Canada and Russia. With a reducing readership the paper was closed November 5, 1947 and the English language papers, The Christian Witness became the main conference paper.
