Mennonite Brethren have worked hard to find faithful ways of living. They did this in community. Resolutions were passed at annual gatherings to help guide the conference leadership, congregations, households and individuals. These resolutions were published along with meeting minutes and reports in the Conference yearbooks. The resolutions from these books have been translated, compiled, and published. The General Conference Mennonite Brethren Church (a bi-national body that existed until 2002) resolutions can be found in the book We Recommend. Parts 1, 2, and 3. parts 1-2 can be found on the Historical Commission web site. Canadian Conference resolutions from 1960-1990 are published in Moved and Seconded. These resolutions get to the heart of what the Mennonite Brethren were thinking as a body on various issues.
