Kornelius Pauls (1881–1919)

Biographical sketch

Not much is known about this person. He was born on May 7, 1881 in Eichenfeld. He went to school here but his life was cut short. He died on October 26, 1919 at the hands of the notorious Nestor Machno along with 75 others.

Scope and content

This collection contains one item. It is a photocopy of a decorated booklet presented to Kornelius Pauls’ parents for New Years in 1894. It includes some Fraktüre (fancy penmanship) and poetry. The entire item is handwritten in German Gothic script.
