Ludwig Hofacker (1789–1828)

Biographical sketch
Ludwig Hofacker was born on April 15, 1789, to Karl Fredirich Hofacker. He attended various schools and later seminaries after 1818, when he gave his life to Christ. In 1813, he attended school in Schöntal and in 1814, he attended school in Maulbronner. After his religious education he became a preacher. His sermons were popular and at times read by Mennonite ministers in church to help promote revival in the Molotschna colony. He preached for many years and after some health problems died in November of 1828.
