[1957?].
1 folder of textual records.

Biographical sketch
Very little is known about Maria Friesen. As a young lady she married widower David Johann Friesen in Davlekanovo, Ufa. Later they settled at Iselj-Kulj, east of Omsk, and still later moved to Frunse. After 1980, Maria lived in West Germany.

Scope and content
The material in this collection consists of a 34 page account of life in the Soviet Union from the 1930s and into Germany by 1957. The material is typed in the German language.

Custodial history
The material was created by Mrs. Friesen. It then appears that Maria Friesen sent this material to H.H. and J. Siemens, Tabor Home, Clearbrook, British Colombia. The custodial history after this is unknown.
