Administrative history
The Meeting Place, Winnipeg, Manitoba, congregation was formed in 1991. They set out to be a “seeker friendly” congregation with a contemporary worship style. They began with a store front in the core of Winnipeg. In 1992 they took possession of an empty building in downtown Winnipeg, and after extensive renovations moved in to their new meeting house in 1993. The membership stood at 34 in 1993 and 321 in 2000.
The leaders of the congregation were: Ben Thiessen (1991–1992) and Paul Wartman (1993–2002), David Falk, Interim (2003), Gene Maynard (2004-2005), Dan Rutherford (2006), Gerry Goertzen (2007), John Neufeld (2008- ).
The language of worship is English.

This fonds consists of an address directory (1996), and congregational bulletins (1991–1995, 2007-2008).
Custodial history
Records were transferred to the Centre for MB Studies archives in Winnipeg, Manitoba on a regular basis until 1996.
