Administrative history

The North Kildonan Funeral Aid Society of the Mennonite and German Settlers of Manitoba was organized in [1937?]. It was established to assist families experiencing the death of a loved one, by providing money to help cover funeral expenses. Membership was reserved for Mennonites and Germans, along with their relatives. The society was funded by membership fees and premiums; [the society dissolved ca. 1996?].

Scope and content
This fonds consists of primarily of records related to the Society’s annual general meetings, membership lists, and constitutions.
