Administrative history
When the Central MB Church, Winnipeg, Manitoba, ceased to exist in 1995 its members scattered to other congregations but some decided to form a new congregation. This New Hope Community Church was formed in 1995 with 38 charter members. It met in rental facilities in Bird’s Hill, Manitoba. However, it had a difficult time functioning and in 1997 it ceased to exist.
The leaders of the congregation were: Walter Thiessen (1995–1997) and Victor Neufeld (1995–1997).

This fonds consists of eight series. Winnipeg Central MB church financial records, revenue Canada Documents, New Hope Community Board of Spiritual Care minutes, New Hope Community Church finances, new Hope Church Membership policy, Software programme and data, New Hope Community Church minutes, New Hope Community Church Membership register.
Custodial history
Records were transferred to the Centre for MB Studies archives in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1997.
