Administrative history
The McIvor MB Church grew out of the North Kildonan MB Church. In 1974 the North Kildonan MB Church decided to form a new congregation. A new meeting place was built and the new congregation was officially formed in 1976. The congregation grew quickly. There were 248 charter members. In 2000 the membership stood at 561.
The leaders of the congregation were: Allan Labun (1976–1994), Wes Dahl (1995), Herb Kopp (1996–1998), and John Epp (1999–2000).
The language of worship is English.

This fonds consists of congregational bulletins (1976–2009) in thirteen (13) folders, constitution and by-laws (1977), membership register (1976–1979), congregational meeting minutes (1976–1978), church council meeting minutes (1976–1978), music committee minutes (1978–1979), nominating committee minutes (1978–1979).
Custodial history
Records were transferred to the Centre for MB Studies archives in Winnipeg, Manitoba on a regular basis from 1977 to 1989. Some records were microfilmed in 1978 through the work of the Historical Commission of the Mennonite Brethren Conference.
