Administrative history
The Eastview Community Church was formed in 1990 as an outgrowth of the River East MB Church. It desired to be a community church in order to reach out to the people of Winnipeg, Manitoba. They began in rental facilities with 150 people. In 1995 they built a meeting place. They have two styles of services: one for non-churched people which includes drama, contemporary music, and practical messages; and the other for churched people emphasizing in-depth Biblical teaching. In 1992 the membership was 156 and in 2000 it was 327.

The leaders of the congregation were: Garth Klassen (1990–1992), Adam Wiggins (1993–1998), and Lorne Pearson (1999-2007), Delbert Enns (2008- ).

Scope and content
This fonds consists of a brief history, congregational telephone directories (1995–1996), and congregational bulletins (1991, 1992, 1994, 1997, 2008-2010).
Custodial history

Records were transferred to the Centre for MB Studies archives in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The language of worship is English.
