Why I think theology is important: The most fundamental questions human beings have about identity, life, and purpose find their answer in Christ as revealed in Scripture. Without sound, biblically based, Christocentric theology, our Confession of Faith will become a static historical artifact instead of a living expression of belief for this generation.

Youth serving with SOAR Heartland
Winnipeg, Man.
March 25–April 3
At MBMSI’s SOAR Heartland, 265 youth from across Manitoba developed their ministry gifts over spring break (Mar. 25–Apr. 3). They went out as teams to 16 Winnipeg ministries, including Christian Family Centre, Siloam Mission, and Inner City Youth Alive, to lead VBS, do construction, support newcomer families, or feed homeless people. All participants ate, slept, and worshipped together at the Palliser Furniture showroom. Pictured are 14 youth and 4 leaders from Steinbach MB Church, along with children from Christian Family Centre.
