The MB Herald is a tool for communicating not only theology and conference information but also family life news within the MB conference in Canada. We publish brief announcements on marriages, the birth of children, and deaths of our members, as well as special anniversaries. We also publish baptisms to welcome new births of another kind.

Note: all obituaries will be edited for style and length.
Please ensure the following pieces of information are included:
Please submit obituaries no later than 9 months after the funeral date.

- Last name of parents
- First names of parents (mother’s maiden name, if desired)
- city/town where parents live
- son/daughter
- name of child
- date of birth
Last name – to father’s first name & mother’s first name (maiden name) of hometown, prov., a son/daughter, child’s name(s), birthdate, year.
Weddings
- first and last name of groom
- hometown of groom
- first and last name of bride
- hometown of bride
- date of wedding
- location of wedding
Groom’s last name – bride’s last name: groom’s full name of groom’s hometown & bride’s full name of bride’s hometown, wedding date, in place, prov.
Anniversaries
only 50th, 60th, 65th, etc.
- names of couple,
- city/town where couple lives,
- when and where they celebrated (with family and friends, etc.),
- when and where they first got married
- photos accepted (larger than 500 KB please)
Last name: Husband’s first name & wife’s first name (maiden name) couple’s last name celebrated their ##th wedding anniversary date at place, prov. They were married original wedding date, year.
Pastor transition
- when will/did the pastor start at your church?
- pastor’s title [youth pastor, lead pastor, associate pastor of a particular ministry, etc.]
- pastor’s educational background [BRE, MDiv, PhD, etc., from MBBS, Regent, ACTS, etc.]
- pastor’s previous work experience [not an exhaustive list, just an indication of church(es) he or she has worked at before, and/or other professional experience, if applicable]
- family: married, # of children?
- a photograph [if children are pictured, please include their names]
Baptisms

- *remember to doublecheck name spellings
