Experienced Mennonite Brethren coaches

We are excited to have Canadian Mennonite Brethren coaches! Each of these five lead pastors who completed the Ministry Advantage program received specialized training to become a Ministry Advantage coach.

Read our news release and the bios below to learn more about our coaches!

What does coaching involve?

Each Ministry Advantage Coaching participant has access to online resources and a coach to discuss strategies in weekly calls over the course of a year. CCMBC's leadership development team organizes and hosts two workshops (fall and spring) that provide further training and interaction between participants. Click here for more information on the Ministry Advantage Coaching program.

How can I sign up?

To sign up for Ministry Advantage Coaching this fall, contact Rebekah Doerksen by Oct. 1, 2012.

Meet the Coaches

Ed Willms
   Southridge Community Church (Ontario)

"Ministry Advantage was a wonderful answer to prayer. Consumed as I was in the trenches of ministry, I often found myself wrestling with some of the more strategic elements of leadership that are so critical today. Ministry Advantage resourced me with valuable tools and resources that empowered my leadership and ministry."

Kelly Wiebe
   West Portal Church (Saskatchewan)

“Ministry Advantage was a great experience for me. I deeply appreciated the insights of my coach and looked forward to our phone conversations. The materials, assignments, and interaction really prepared me for senior leadership. Without the knowledge Ministry Advantage imparted, I would nearly be lost as a senior leader.”

Gary Burke  Linden MB Church (Alberta)

“I think there’s a very strong connection between ReFocusing and Ministry Advantage. We as a church went through ReFocusing…and then I started Ministry Advantage. The program gave us practical, adaptable tools so our church could move toward the purpose we discovered through the ReFocusing process.” Watch Gary's video.

Philli
p Vallelly – Winkler MB  (Manitoba)

“This will be the best Professional Development you will ever take.” Watch Phillip's video.

Thom Braun
– New Hope Church Niagara (Ontario)

“Books and seminars leave you with information that you end up implementing a small portion of for a short while. Ministry Advantage coaching walks you through week by week implementation. Fantastic!”  Watch Thom's video.
