- ages of all extended family (including grandchildren)
- place of residence of all family members
- Assets and Liabilities
- list at current market value
- Executor(s)
- full legal name, age, and city of residence. [Suggestion: preferably not same as guardian(s)]
- alternative (in event the first choice cannot act)
- Guardian(s)
- full legal name, age, and city of residence
- alternate (in event the first choice cannot act)
- Distribution in Each of the Following:
- if no spouse survives but children remain
- if there is no surviving spouse or children, or if children all die before receiving their shares
To think about
- If a child predeceases you, where does that share go?
- Does it go to the child’s spouse?
- Does all or a percentage go to the grandchildren?
- Consider staged payout to surviving children.
- Consider gifts to Christian ministries and other charities.
