As the Canadian Conference of MB Churches, we are blessed to not only serve as the governing body of the Mennonite Brethren community on a national level, but also to work together with the provincial MB conferences spread across Canada to create and support healthy churches reaching their worlds. We are thankful for our provincial conferences, the work they do, the complementary relationship we share with them, and the privilege we have to work together.
The Canadian Conference and the provincial conferences are separately organized bodies. Local congregations first join their respective provincial conferences, and by virtue of that, become part of the Canadian Conference. However, both national and provincial bodies are committed to working together in serving congregations and helping them succeed in growth and mission and are involved in ongoing collaborative dialogue to achieve that.
