In summer 2005, I was doing a lot of soul-searching. It was a very difficult time in my life. It seemed that everywhere I went, even unusual places, God was there. One day, while I was at the GO Train Station, some folks were handing out the New Testament; that’s when I knew where I was supposed to be. Shortly thereafter, I started attending Clarington Community Church.
I had spent most of my life feeling out of place, not really knowing where I fit. As soon as I attended my first service at Clarington, I immediately felt at home. I was welcomed and knew this was where God wanted me to be. Clarington has helped me stay connected to the Lord and allowed me to grow in so many ways. I now have a solid church family on whom I depend and for whom I am so thankful.
