Artisan is a vibrant new church plant in the heart of downtown Vancouver. October 4, 2010, marks the first anniversary for this fledgling church that holds its weekly gatherings at the Vancouver Public Library. Artisan seeks to be a caring community in which all are welcome, and where creativity and the arts are nurtured.
In June, they began a summer series entitled, Inhale/Exhale: Learning to breathe the Psalms, as a way to respond to God through ongoing, honest, healthy dialogue. “We believe God calls his people to be formed in communities that are devoted to prayer,” says pastor and church planter Nelson Boschman. A morning gathering to pray a particular psalm, reinforced the summer theme.
Pray that this church plant will continue to reach new people for Jesus in exciting and creative ways!
